This petition, like my previous attempt, has been declined:
Following the vote to leave the EU, please form a Government of National Unity
Due to the significance of the decision to leave the EU and the national split in opinion. We now need a cross party group to lead the Nation and work together for the good of all. It cannot be decided by one party alone. We must work together in seizing this opportunity!
Now that the shock has receded, I am still very concerned, because:I have
1. Mild confidence in Mrs Theresa May as incumbent Prime Minister of the United Kingdom
2. NO CONFIDENCE in the British Conservative Party currently governing the said United Kingdom
3. NO CONFIDENCE in HM’s loyal opposition lead by Jeremy Corbyn, its currently elected leader.
Additional notes and observations are retained by me. These will be held and can be produced if the need arises. In the meantime, I reserve the right to contact trustworthy senior officials as well as Rt Hon John Berkow MP, speaker of the House of Commons
In view of today’s sudden and unexplained delay of the Hinckley Point nuclear contract, we demand a government of national unity (GNU) until May 2020 and specifically instruct the GNU to thoroughly examine:
i. BREXIT, its pro’s and Con’s in the light of the referendum held on 23rd June 2016
ii. Antiquated tax collecting methods in relation to the explosive growth of the self empoyed and the SOHOs (Small Office Home Office)
iii. the inequality and inefficiency of the “First Past the Post” electoral voting system. At the time of writing the SNP (Westminster based) MPs have a massively unfair advantage over their colleagues in Wales and Norther Ireland.
iv. child abuse, alcohol and drug ediction
v. failure by the conservatives and its labour opposition to recognise and place the nation's long term interest above the fray of daily politics
vi. refusing to shorten the normal (2016) holiday recess accorded to said politicians.
vii. Restore hope and trust in politicians, the NHS and the press corps

IN THE EVENT OF ANY CONFLICT OF INTEREST I declare I am a member of the Christian family and a life long admirer of St Thomas of Canterbury and St Thomas More. If asked, I love and respect the monarch(s) of my own country and my adopted country, second only to my love and complete spiritual obedience for the Holy Trinity.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be. World without end. Amen.
