In 1998 the British Red Cross (a member of the IFRCS - the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies) celebrated its 125th Birthday. The Battle of Solferino on 24 June 1859 resulted in the victory of the allied French Army under Napoleon III and Sardinian Army under Victor Emmanuel II against the Austrian Army under Emperor Franz Joseph I. Wikipedia

10 Downing Street

Supreme Court decides

Today's unanimous ruling by the British Supreme Court confirms the authority of Parliament and allows normal business to resume at the Palace of Westminster.

The British Judiciary has simply defined the boundaries between the authority and functions of the British Parliament and the British Government.
