Our visitor at St Joseph's Church in New Malden on Sunday 27th March 2011, was Father Peter Walters, the long standing director of "Let the Children Live", one of our of our two Lenten Charities.
He touched our hearts, especially because as a young holiday traveller, he was stranded in South America and befriended some of the young people he now helps to protect from a live of poverty and other problems, which he can explain far better we can.
His UK office is based near the shrine of "Our Lady of Walsingham", where he first set up the charity in the 1970s.
Some of us at St Joseph's Church are now brainstorming ideas, because we recognise the valuable work Father Peter Walters is doing in South America.
